We have started to get calls from this number and others. Each time they call a coworkers direct line and ask for me by name. They don't leave messages but will call back 3-4 times a day from different phone numbers.
These idiots are relentless! They call everyday, from different "spoofed" US numbers, claiming to be from various companies.
They say they are Sean Smith calling from the office of....here, the names are Liz Kelly @ Divergent, Brenda Reimer @ LogRhythm, Lance Manui @ Zilliant.....Dr. Smith from New York Hospital (ha ha ha) and the list goes on and on. They call and ask for our employees by name, often alphabetically as if they are working from a list. Every time I hear those loud call center background noises, I ask them to identify themselves. They come up with a different name every time, but they call so often, that I recognize the voice. They are obviously up to no good if they have to use so many different numbers. One guy called a few days ago from one area code and called back immediately from a different one! I called him on it, and he hung up on me! Beware! Some type of scam!
I got a call from this number today.
It did not ring though because I have my phone default to be no ring.
For calls of people I do want to talk to I set a special ring tone for them.
This way the annoying calls go unanswered and the phone only rings when I get a call from someone I set up their ringtone.
