I have received many calls from these numbers which I never answer. I believe this may be a marketing ploy to have people pay money for reverse call look ups. If so it is a clever marketing tool. Since getting these calls on a daily basis is annoying, especially to a business, it may drive some to pay to see who the caller is. Since they are offshore using U.S. numbers, there is no way to prosecute them.

i finally lost my temper today and demanded they take me off their call list, because he's not here, and he's not going to BE here, he's retired, and moved to Canada with his wife and 50,000 grandchildren.
