This is a fake, bogus call from scammers. No matter anyone says on this site, it is a bogus number. One fool said, "it's okay. It's real, i work here". Give me a break. I get these 'american expres' calls from all over the u.S. I do not do any business with them whatsoever. If it was truly american express, they would leave a message. My bank does when they call and i am not home.
Got a call this morning from 6025379012 with 6234926031 below it. A man with a very thick Australian-ish acsent spoke and wanted to know if a John Cox resided at our residence. . . . . had to have him spell the name he was looking for because I could not understand him. I told him that person did not live at our residence and asked him to identify himself and who he was with and he simply hung up. Frankly, Matt and Spunky, you would have to offer alot more proof than your typed words that these calls are legitimate Amex calls.
These idiots have been calling twice a day for over a month - but there's never anyone there when we answer. When we call back? It just answers and disconnects.
I have also been getting the same number 602-5327-9012 sometimes twice a day without leaving a message but then again in evening and they leave an automated message. It is a male voice stating they are from American Express with an "urgent message about a very important buisness matter" and to call immediatly. I called the number and it was infact actually American Express and I spoke to two people there that could not tell me why I am getting the messages. My account is in good standing and no problems.....how do I stop this harrasment? I am going to call back and tell them to figure it out....I had played the message back to one of the employees and they could not tell me anything except it was an automated message....duh.
