We keep getting calls every day from 602-542-1126, caller ID says 'AZ State Gov'. If you answer the phone, there is someone trying to execute a 'survey' and collect your personal and health information. They are argumentative if you refuse and you'll need to hang up on them. There is just no way I'm giving personal info to strangers over the phone. Very annoying and creepy.
I have the same problem. They always call after hours, holidays, and weekends. Why would the State pay these people overtime or whatever for this survey. I do not answer and they do not leave a message. Sounds fishy to me.
This is official and legit... it's the Arizona Behavioral Risk Factor Survey. A letter was sent out a couple of weeks ago by the AZ Dept of Public Health Services to people who are on the call list. It is voluntary (obviously).
I received such a letter, and so far have had two calls (which I have ignored). If you do not wish to continue receiving calls, politely ask the survey agent to remove your name from the list. If you get any rebuttal or continue to receive calls, you can contact Judy Bass at AZDPHS, 602-542-1125.
Nobody in our household is on any kind of Behavioral Health program, and I did not receive the letter that was spoken of. So I do not understand why they keep calling us.
