I wish that worked Bill.These dirtbag scammers simply change the numbers they're calling from. Going thru my 85-year old moms caller i.d.from past 30 days,I am seeing that they've called her from this number several times on 3/18+3/19/2015,a few of those times were at 8:45 P.M. I wish the govt do-not-call registry really worked.I would think they could come up with the technology to prevent this,if they have means to listen to and read everyone's calls/texts.Its very aggravating.I try not to hate anyone,but these people are sub-human(the telemarketing scammers).
That's the problem.They constantly bother my 85 year old mom,from people claiming to represent police chiefs assn to supposed agents of IRS,to telling her she won a free $500 gift card-but they need her social security and bank routing numbers to 'facilitate the wire transfer'.The do-not-call list does nothing.The scumbags just keep switching their phone numbers.My mom-and myself answer all calls,because I have recently started selling online.Its not easy predicting which call will be a potential customer or someone we are acquainted with,and which one will be a scumbag.
CTkec,my mom got calls from them on 3/18+3/19 at 8:45 P.M. She is 85 yrs old,and I have been storing up all these scammers/telemarketers#'s,there are dozens,and do-not-call registry is useless.I live in Milford,most of the calls are from out of state,but there's a few from the (860) area code-Hartford/New London counties.Once in awhile we get a scam/telemarketer from my area(203) but as I was registering this one,a minute ago,the phone rang,caller i.d.showing MY OWN NUMBER,AND MY DECEASED FATHERS NAME ON IT!! How fu$&in rotten can someone get?
