Got a call, they knew my name is and town I lived. She was collecting money for the police, and then She asked if I was still living in "xxx" I said no, and if I still lived in the (enter state name here)... I said no, she thanked me kindly and hung up. They had called me and I called back after missing the call and she knew who I was immediately, referring to me by name. Very freaky. I'm going to block them with my call blocker.
Where I live no company can call for donations. All info has to be mailed to resident. If they call for donations its a scam! Thanks for your info cuz I just got a call but it said afpd. Making it look like their police
I received a call from the 516# just now. A old man by the name of "Joe" answered after 45 sec delay. Started shpeeling about AFPO and to help families of fallen police officers. I asked how much in % gets lost in "Administration Costs?" His reply was can I count on you for a $20.00 donation? Again I asked, "How much $ is LOST in Administration Costs". Joe disconnected the call. My " majic" number is no more than 20% for any donations. Otherwise I consider them frauds.
