I just got a message from a number 607-216-8884 claiming to be IRS. The message recording was that of an Indian gentleman. It was hard to understand, but from what I gather he said "IRS" and "Immediate action" is necessary. When I returned this call, my cell phone location showed New York. Being self employed for over 20 years, I knew something was wrong about IRS in NY because there isn't one in NY. So please be careful and don't get alarmed when you get a call from this mysterious number. These guys are voice fishing to obtain money from you. It's a scam!
I originally got calls from 585-283-7013. Who claims calls from IRS. I asked if I can call him back. He gave this number 607 216-8884. They are Big Time Scammers, They are targeting the person who got debt with IRS, ESPECIALLY new immigrants. They threaten their targets with arrests and deportations. Several of them have Indian/ Pakistani accents but mine had European accent, similar to Russian/ Polish kind.. Please file complaint!!

Just got a call from a guy of Pakistani/Indian Heavy Accent said his name is William Austin (IRS) Tel. No. 607-216-8884 threatening to bring a few Police concerning my IRS Account to arrest me for not coming to see him at his offce.
They called me and left a message from IRS and I called them bk, So they say that I owe taxes and that if I don't pay them 5000+ dollars, IRS will come and arrest me in an hr & I'll have to pay 25000 + 5 yrs in prison and will loose all my assets, including bank account. So I told him to come and that I'll wait, so he said ThankYou and cut the phone
