Got a call from this number about 10:30 this morning and when I saw the number on the caller ID screen I just hit the red "Block Now" button on the device I have. It is a great way to defeat these people. I got it from Amazon.com and it's called a CPR V 202 call blocker. Not all that expensive and it works really great if you have caller ID on your phone. When the phone rings and you see that it is a telemarketer or number you don't recognize or that you don't want calling you, just hit the red button on the device that says "Block Now" and you will not get any more calls from that number. You can also block area codes, blocked caller calls and unavailable number calls. If you are not home when the call comes in you can still block it by entering it into the call blocker... great device, I really like it.
Got a call from Binghamton NY CID on 3/24/15, at 5:41PM. I know it's bogus, they all are. If anyone legitimate is trying to call, they'll probably never get to me, unless they leave a voicemail. It's pointless to do anything about these calls except not answer them and endure the constant ringing. Call blockers are pointless. The Federal Government is pointless, but that goes without saying. Grin and bear it, folks. As long as we have phones, this is our lot in life.
The card service scammers WILL 'service' our credit cards, BUT, when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!
