Have had these scam calls from 607 271-9258 6 or 7 times before. These jerks
just wont give up. They know that I know they are scammers but will not take
my name off of there calling list. This time it was a female who insisted she was
from Microsoft. At least the other jerk said he was with a company that worked with Microsoft.
They want to put my computer into safe mode and then sell be a scam protection program before
they give me back control of my computer. Stay away from these scammers. They are bad news.
I received a call from this number today. The man on the phone had a heavy accent, and claimed he was calling from a Google directory company. My caller ID said it was a laundromat in Elmira, NY. When I questioned him, he tried to give me a different number to call back. I told him, "I don't think so, and you need to not call this number again." He tried to continue arguing with me, and kept trying really hard to get me to call the second number. I told him no deal, and hung up on him. The name of the laundromat is Wash-it Laundromat on 309 Pennsylvania Ave in Elmira, NY.
A guy with East Indian accent called to say he's got a message from my IP address that my computer has virus--second such calls I got in the last couple weeks. He asked me to go on a website to connect him to my computer.
the man on the other line said i was selected to recieve grant money and he wanted to transfer into my credit card account I told him to mail me a check if it was real and he got off the phone very quickly after that
