Caller (either India or Pakistan) excited about my 'Windows' computer being hacked into now and to go to their website now to correct the problem! Bogus! Reverse phone search shows either 'Corland, NY' or 'Selena, TX' and hung up immediately when I stated that I don't have a 'Windows' computer.
Very threatening-sounding message, like someone else up above, that if I have computer damage, computer being hijacked, comprised personal info, virus, if this is the computer using Microsoft Windows. " Press 1 for Security Team now".....MUST be fixed!!
This scam is laughable. They called while no one was home and all our Macs (no Windows machines) were off. Their message said our PC's running Windows had been hacked. Give us an f'ing break. At least show some originality.
