Who called from 6075278802

These scammers are also calling people from the following numbers 1-510-943-3040 and 1-607-527-5557.. quite obvious to me by all these comments that the scammers are using some sort of computer program to hijack if you will phone numbers to call from. It is the fake Microsoft Scammers, they've been using this scam since 2008. They tell you that you have left open ports in your PC that allowed multiple viruses and offer to help you fix the issue by putting in the code they give you which is logmein123. This allows them to gain 100% remote access to all the information that is on your computer. We've gotten calls from these jokers numerous times since the beginning of the fall, Mike, Alex, Sandra & Janet have all called claiming to be associated with Microsoft or they have identified themselves as Windows Tech Support. Microsoft NEVER calls people at their homes. These jokers have even called my Uncle & Aunt on numerous times, and they don't even own a computer. In Canada you can report these calls to [email protected] or contact your local RCMP.

My uncle spoke to them today.  Told us we had a computer error.  My uncle laughed at him advising him we had five computers and all worked fine.  Only description was that his voice was East Indian.

Got seven calls today from this number and 6 others all saying I had window problems. A word of advise.....Try to keep no important info on your computer like Bank info, SS numbers, tax forms, ect, ect. If you do need to keep info on the computer I would suggest using Cypherix LE and store the info in that, its free and does offer some protection, I also use SD memory cards for my important storage of tax forms and important papers, it can be unpluged from the computer and stored in a safe place. Most poeple know this but a couple here seems to have had a close call, its almost at a point you can't trust your friends leave alone your enemies. Be very careful what you download, you may get more software than you expect and not know it till it is to late. Just trying to help and warn people, a computer can be an open book online.

i got a call from this number stating i had taken out a loan from payday loans... i have never taken out a loan and never will... unless it is thru my bank... they have been calling for a month now and using other numbers... 607-732-9064, 718-377-9189, 630-213-1978, and also blocks their number... these people are middle eastern and talk with an accent... they will be condescending and will talk over you... they cant give an exact date and if they were a true debt collector they would tell you when you took out a loan... they gave me wrong information and said they would track me down and bring the cops to my house...

I've gotten 2 calls from them in the past week. The first time the guy said his name was "Shaun Blaine" and that my computer was being hacked or something. It was pretty hilarious because he had a strong East Indian accent, and it was pretty hard to believe that his name was Shaun Blaine. I told him I was busy and he said he'd call back later.

He called back today saying his name was "Kevin Jones" and that he remembered talking to me.  I said I couldn't talk to him and he said he's going to call back again on Monday. How do I make sure he doesn't hack into my computer?
