This number called today, recorded message saying they were the IRS. Stated a lawsuit was being filed against me and this was my final notice. Left a call back number which was difficult to understand because the recording was shaky.
I have a VOIP (Voice Over IP) service and forgot/neglected to set a Caller ID for outbound calls. The calls I made show up as: 607-733-1419. I would treat these calls as being from an "Unknown Caller" or "Blocked ID".

The caller wanted to fix a virus on my computer. They said they're getting messages from the computer that it's infected. Yeah... right!
Did not even bother trying to say what company they were from.
When I said I knew that what they were saying was false. She prodded, look at your screen, I'm going to show you.
