Who called from 6077954641

The simple fact is that the IRS does not call people.

This is a hoax.  Do not answer or respond.  They say they are the IRS and filing a suit against you.  They are just phishing for info.

Got a call from this number earlier today and the following computer generated message was left:

"Hello.  We have been trying to reach you.  This call is official and final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Services. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you.  To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number  to 02 864 1324.  I repeat 02 864 1324. Thank you."

Came up on Caller ID as follows:

607-795-4641

received a call at 8.20 am pdt today - east indian accent claiming to be microsoft. i hng up. appears (rpt appears...) to be a NY number

Received a call from this number. Wouldn't say who they were and as I am in the UK and they were calling from New York I hung up.

They did know my name, which worried me how they got the number and name.
