Received an automated call from this # stating IRS was suing me and I needed to call 360-861-4626 immediately (which I didn't). The call back # shows as a mobile # in Elma, Washington.
Answered the phone and it was a recording, saying that they have been trying to reach us and they are the IRS and we were being sued. They said to call another number to discuss this issue. I did not take down the number because I have no issues with the IRS and I don't think they would respond in this manner.
I received a call from a woman at (607) 795-4641 (607 area code NE New York State) who said they were filing a lawsuit against me regarding taxes. She told me another number to call to discuss the law suit, but I was unable to write down the number to call. I found the (607) 795-4641 on my caller ID display. This is totally false.
This time the # said they were from the IRS and this was my final notice. They were filing a lawsuit against me and I had to call ---------. Yeah, not doing that.
