Got a call from this number. A computer recording came on and stated that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call 315 area code number, don't remember the rest of the number. It is a scam
I got a call from this number saying that there was a legal case against me for collection of a payday loan. The same person called me from 3 different phone numbers, and I ended up telling him in the end that there was no legal case against me and he better stop calling me.
This guy from India with a think accent calls telling me that he is calling on behalf of Microsoft Office and says there are some Trojans and Virusus on my computer and I need to switch my computer on. He will fix it "right before my eyes". What a load of crap! I keep telling him it is a scam and that he should not call me again but to no avail. Give'em hell!
Guy calls claiming he works for a credit card verification office and asks me to tell him the expiry date of my credit card. When I asked him how I could verify who he was and that I'd rather call the credit card office myself, he kept telling me his name, title and badge number, insisting that the credit card expiry date is not secret information. I asked him to give me the number of the credit card number in question, which he couldn't do, so I hung up on him. When I reviewed the number he was calling from, it was this number and not a 1-800 as he was claiming.
