I received a phone call from this number and nobody left a message, I called back and nobody answers, I didn't answer because I did recognize the number. I do order from Lands End sometimes, I probably gave them my number. I do not like the fact though that they might have given it out. I also don't like people trying to market to me or unwanted marketing calls. I will have to speak to Lands End about it.

How do they get cell numbers, I don't EVER give mine out and it's on a do not call list.

I received a call from this phone # last night and they left a message of, "oh-oh", and hung up. I tried calling the phone # this morning and there was no answer or voice mail.
I ordered something from them once, but did not include my cell phone number as a form of contact, so no idea how they even got this number. While, yes, I ordered something probably two months ago, received it and there are no issues, I don't understand a need for a call from them. If there were an issue with my order, I would have contacted them myself. But there was not, nor have I any interest in ordering anything else from them. The reason people are upset is that in this day and age, there is a LOT of unsolicited, unwanted harrassing phone calls from random businesses and rude telemarketers. We shouldn't HAVE to answer our phone to find out who it is on the other end, which is the reason behind caller ID. Too many unwanted telemarketer calls blew up my home phone to a point where I finally disconnected that phone. People that NEED my cell number have it. Businesses trying to drum up new business by calling me, are not one of those people. I don't appreciate the unncessary call, especially if they aren't going to leave a message, but instead continue to call at random, inconvenient times of the day. Patricia..don't have a cow about people not wanting to answer unknown numbers!! I can't imagine YOU personally answer every phone call you receive! I would think by not answer repeated phone calls, with no message left, that Land's End would get the hint that we don't want to talk to them. They should stop calling.
I just got a call on my cellphone from this number (6/1/10) and did what others have done - called back with no answer. I recently placed a Land's End order, was unsatisfied and sent it back. The woman said she was "welcoming me to Land's End." She had no knowledge of the recent order and that I'd ordered from LE for many, many years until they were bought out by Sears, I think? Haven't ordered from them in four years. The woman did NOT sound like she really knew anything about LE. It was a strange call.
