The number wasn't disconnected when I called but it did say the conversation was being recorded. Once I went through all the prompts, I got someone called Tyler Allen, employee number 23782 who didn't know anything about me, where I was from, etc., but was sure he could save me some money on my power bill. When I mentioned I that I wanted to see evidence that they had a license to do business in the state (since they were collecting revenues from state residents), the call abruptly ended. Wow, we got the same call from Mr. Waters today @ 1:10 PM. Prior to his call we had rec'd multiple calls Tues 1/17/2017 from some guy who didn't give his name. I picked up one of the calls and he asked me to read info from my public service bill. I could hear a lot of people in the background, like a call center. I said I don't have it at this moment but if you give me your number I'll call you back. He gave me the phone number of the American Fence Company, obviously not his. Kept calling on Tues but nobody picked up his call. Then yesterday we were expecting a call from a friend and picked up the phone. It was the same guy. He said "Remeber me? Can I have that info now? I said I called public service and they told me not to give you any info from my bill and hung up. The guy had an Indian accent. So today, since he was unsuccessful in duping us, we got the call from Mr. Waters. These creeps are persistent.
