B R Interviewing called me at 12:48 pm on a Sunday. A female with a southern drawl asked for a specific person in the household that wasn't home. I asked the purpose of the call and the female stated that she was conducting a telephone survey regarding issues in my community. I asked If I could be interviewed instead. She asked if I was over 18, a registered voter, and if I lived at this address. I was, and she proceeded with a 30 minute phone survey focused on two upcoming ballot measures in my City. I am familiar with City issues and the client of the survey was obviously my local City Council. I asked her where she was physically located, she replied: Memphis, TN. She was calling from a "call bank", you could hear others in the background asking the same questions. In this case, the caller was an information gatherer.

I got a call last night-- They said they are B and R Interviewing, they were doing a "survey" and wanted to speak to the "man of the house "age 18 or older". I asked why, she said they were doing a survey about "relationships and finances". I told her "not interested" and hung up. Sounds like phone prostitution.
Will someone with power and experience and authority please (1) report B R Interviewing to the Federal authorities, (2) drag these individuals to Capital Hill for a hearing and to have effective legislation passed that will throw these people under the jail and to do Community Service thereafter for the lengh of time they have been committing these civil and crimes such as Disturbing the Peace, Invasion of expected Privacy, being a Public Nuisance, contributing to lowering the quality of life, and the list goes on.
