I got a call from this number. I got scammed into giving them my credit card number! They wanted to lower my credit card rates for 796.00. I didn't follow through with it & now they won't stop calling & telling me they will send me to collections & use the bank info that I use to pay my credit card with to take the $! I've had to change everything! How stupid can I be!
Don't beat yourself up. They had me to that certain point as well and then they were threatening and nasty and kept calling back after I called them out on them being a scam. Some guy with a Russian accent and an American sounding female "supervisor" who he put on the line but then wouldn't again. I had to change the primary number they had on the card. And now they call at least 12x a day on a secondary cell number that I don't want to change.
At least they didn't get us all the way. I am trying to find a way to get them report to the authorities found out and brought up on charges. The scary thing is that they had waaaayyyy too much of the real information on the account.
I had the same problem. When I wouldn't give them the info they wanted, they got very aggressive and threatening. They had All my private information, including address, checking account, credit cards; so I changed everything, even my cell #/ service. Call the FTC to report any information so these jerks can be caught and avoided. . These guys are serious cons, SO scary
