I think they usually try to collect on old medical bills
they had a 'neighbor' from a mile down the road contact our realtor. she called us and when my husband tried the number, there was no answer. the caller identified himself as 'Mr. Bakeman from ReMax in NJ' to the neighbor. STRANGE.
isn't there a way to find out who these jerks are???????? it's creepy!
People from this company keep calling our phone number. They call from several different numbers today it was this one. They also keep giving different numbers to call back. Today the number was 800-772-9284. They always give some type of generic name. Jim Abrams, Alan Richards etc... and refuse to say who they are or what they want. One such call the caller stated that they had some kind of business deal.
Whatever it is and whomever they are - they are violating all kinds of laws. Our phone numbers are listed on all DO NOT CALL LISTS. They appear to be some kind of telemarketers with a scam.
I spoke to Jim Abrams. This was in regard to a bill I owed. He said they can not disclose any information to anyone other than me or my wife because of privacy laws. I thought this was a scam too, but I just owed a bill. I checked the website and they are legit, a pain in the butt, but legit.
