A phone message referred me to this number. A Karen Dennis, a raspy-sounding live female speaker (not the usual robo-call female voice) phoned my home from a different number, 1-609-945-3000.
First, she stated she was calling to collect a debt. She identified herself as Karen Dennis, from Ramex (spelling?) Inc., and said to contact her at the 800-772-9284 number. THEN, she switched tactics and said it was "an important business matter". Whatever. Thank goodness I just vet all my phone calls through my answering machine first. This one gets a resounding *delete*!!
Actually, I read a few previous posts regarding this phone number, and maybe the company is Remex Inc. It sounded like Ramex but the lady just buzzed right through the identification, I couldn't be sure. I'll just stick with the name provided by this website's posts.
this is a credit collection company and the name is Remex and there people are unprofessional when you called this number they wont answer they have a 800 number and when i called some lady answered the phone "hello, who do you wanna talk to" but i though that they have to identified them self or at least the companys name.
They're back again. Same deal as my previous post on 12-18-2009. Same woman, same tactics: attempt to collect a debt, but then refers to it as "an important business matter," and same referral to a phone number different from the one that had called me.
Same person, same tactics, same result: *delete* of the voice mail.
I'm labeling this caller type as "telemarketer" instead of "collection agency," in light of the reference to "an important business matter." Whatever. Either way, just go away.
