Received a call yesterday from this number. They called at least 4 times....knew my name and my address.
Did the same as some of you, stated I was receiving a credit for some magazines. When I questioned them, I was told I had to update my account--by giving checking acct info--to get any information.
Incredibly shady.
I've been receiving calls with this number on a daily basis. I blocked the number and they still keep calling. I worked at a bank and do not call back nor answer. They are able to get lots of info. Block the number.
i got the same call about being put on a do not call list and how was i enjoying my magazines. i told him i never asked for the magazines and don't read them even though i'm receiving 5 or 6 different ones each month. he said i completed a survey with them which entitled me to receive the magazines and that since i didn't cancel them within 7 days i owed a balance on them. i remember the survey i took and i specifically said i wasn't interested in getting any free magazines after which i was hung up on. i've received the magazines for a year now and don't know what to do about it.
