it's legit, but it's also an outsourced company conducting the survey on behalf of U of M. I asked to be removed and they called me again from this number. The first time was from a NY number.
If this is legit: Why do they not leave a message? Why did they call my cell phone? When asked to remove a phone number, why do they not comply? The U of M has to be aware of the tactics used by this POS outsourced firm; but apparently the U of M feels the ends (survey results) justify the means (outright harassment).
They are calling as part of a U of M and State Health Department effort and they will give you the doctor's name who is in charge if you ask for it. I specifically asked for the doctor's name and number, called her and left a message, and she called me back and confirmed that this is indeed work that she is doing for the State of MN. Please see the following link: http://www.shadac.org/profile/ktcall If you actually live in Minnesota, and you care about getting access to good Health Insurance in 2014, then pay attention, because unless you have money, you aren't going to get good insurance. Pretty simple, right? It is actually much more complicated than that, I know, but that's what she is trying to prove with the results of this survey.
This phone# 612-626-3261 needs to stop calling people and leaving hang up messages! I've called twice and spoken to a live person and was told it was the U of M for some survey. I told them to remove the cell phone# from their list! Have received 5 hang up voice mails, with nothing but background jibber jabber in the background over the past 5 days!!!
Calls and I don't answer because I don't know anyone at the U of M! They call on our land line which is an unlisted, unpublished number. They never leave a message for a return call; therefore, I can only assume it is some sort of [***] harassment! If it is indeed a survey, and it has to do with Minnesotas crummy taxpayer supported health care program, they can take their government sponsored; excuse me, taxpayer supported government healthcare POS and place it where the sun doesn't shine!
