Had the same call from Emily with her headset issues, then heard on the radio that the newest scam is them trying to get you to say "yes" so they can record your voice and use it against you to purchase things. Pretty sure she asked if I could hear her. I fell for it -- wish I'd heard about this scam a few days earlier.
I've had several calls that appear to be coming from a number in my area code. It's "Emily" have a little problem with her headset. Something about a resort. Annoying.
This Emily girl calls me constantly. I never hear what company this recording comes from but I get these constantly. I never wish ill will on anyone but I hope she has a string of bad luck, like getting a flat tire, breaking her nail, hairdryer breaking or what the hell, catching an annoying but curable STD. Get bent Emily and for Petes Sake quit ADJUSTING YOUR STUPID HEADSET!!!
This "Emily" ditz uses many phone numbers, and changes them so fast that Google searches can't keep up. How many years have we had to deal with Rachel from Card Services without the FTC seeming to be able to do a thing about it? And new scams like Emily just keep popping up every day. Some days I'll get a dozen phone calls from various scams. It really has gotten out of control.
