Had the same call from Emily with her headset issues, then heard on the radio that the newest scam is them trying to get you to say "yes" so they can record your voice and use it against you to purchase things. Pretty sure she asked if I could hear her. I fell for it -- wish I'd heard about this scam a few days earlier.
I got an 'Emily' call a few minutes ago. I called the number back, and someone kept saying "Hello" after I said hello. Then, in the background I heard "I hung up." right before the person on the other end. The call was 269-325-2770, which is out of Benton Harbor, MI.
I received the same call from Emily who was having trouble with her headset. Pure BS. Rob oval. I called the # back and got the message "Thos offfer is now expired ". Blocked the caller...
I just got this call about an hour ago. It came from 812-691, my cell number is 812-691-×××× so I answered it thinking it might be one of my kids friends. I like a fool said yes.....now I'm scared to death as to what they will try to do. I've put flags on my credit report.
The call is from 'Emily' which is a recording in which she pretends she has to adjust her headset - most annoying. It's a sales call for free hotel stay in Orlando and the Bahamas. I didn't sty on the call long enough to know what the company name is
