Got a call a couple of times today, but this is not the first time. I told him the first time that I didn't understand what he was talking about and said goodbye and hung up. He called a little later with the same story about deleting files from my computer, etc. I told them to take me off their call list I was not interested in speaking with them again.
Received a call from this number about 3:30 PM Thursday 10/8. I never answer my land line anymore because of these scam calls. Recently changed my answering machine message to indicate that my number is registered with the Do Not Call List and does not accept calls from telephone solicitors, charities, political organizations, or Indian scammers. So far no one has had the balls to leave a message. :-)
Received 3 calls within a 1/2 hour. I answered the first time and was met with silence on the other end; didn't answer the next two calls and have now blocked this number.
Someone named D N Whitney, 612-866-5797, keeps calling my home phone. They even called after 10:30 last night on the one night I decided to go to bed early!
