Call from 613-216-2172 is from Ontario...caller claims he wants to help with "Obama's" remortgaging procedures. There is no reason for a call to be coming to the U.S. from Canada regarding our mortgage issues. This has to be a serious scam. Be very careful.
Receive calls regularly. No one answers when you pick up the phone. Says it's Ottawa On calling. If we let it ring through, we either get a long winded message or nothing.......I am on the "do not call list" but that doesn't seem to matter.
Ok, is it me or does the scum seem to be floating higher and higher... call came in from above number this morning to the littlest state in the USA. We are on the do not call list too but that seems to be moot since they are. Thanks for heads up on this scam. I will be passing this on to the Attoney General's office for consumer affairs and the federal do not call list .. EH.. Last thing I need is some "hoser" calling me trying to take my money. Obama is doing just fine in stealing what is left.

Saw this number1-613-216-2172 on my Caller ID....... I dont know anyone in this area code found this site when I googled. Thanks for the heads up. I'm on the Do not call list.......but since the call is from CANADA, they dont have to comply with U.S.TELECOMMUNICATIONS LAWS. Isn't that cute? So expect more and more of these types of calls coming into the USA.
