Continue to receive phone calss with no one answering. Has happen a few times. As with others mentioning a return call with mailbox full and unable to take message.
What is BBB doing about this?
I received a call from 613.216.2172 on my cell phone on 7/22/09 while I was not available to take the call. Then I called back and got the announcement that the mail box is full and couldn't accept any messages. This area code is from Ontario, Canada.
ignored the first few calls, finally answered, the caller ASKED FOR MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT NUMBER, then hung up when I informed him that my number is on do not call reg. tried to call back, but got mailbox full msg.
Not much can be done to stop these calls. The FTC's no help. Let your answering machine handle it. If it was legitimate they'd leave a message. They're either selling something or scamming.
