Call from Ontario, Canada -- Wanted to lower my credit card finance charges. Being we don't carry a balance, I knew it was fraud. Pushed #2 to talk to a person. I asked that I be put on the DO NOT CALL list -- lady hung up. These are the robo calls that US Congress and many of the State's Attorney Generals were working on stopping -- so they moved the businesses to Canada. Guess the car warranty calls will begin again! I am forwarding the phone number to my Attorney General.
Been receiving daily calls some a much as 8 times a day. These calls are made to my landline (I am on the do not call list). How does one stop these harrassing telephone calls. Especially, in the wee hours of the morning waking you out of a sound sleep -- and you get that fear something has happened to a family member. The numbers I have been repeatedly tortured by are: 281-957-5365, 801-649-4604, 919-521-8837, 613-216-2172 and the credit card service scam 402-982-0771.
I just found out from another website these guys are a scam, they want your credit card info. Since they are in Canada they do not have to follow Do Not Call lists.
