Grade 3 scam. I never get how anyone falls for this type of crap. Takes me 1- 5 seconds to figure out just one of a million rip off dolts. If this is an Ontario area code, how is it that they don't get tracked, shut down, arrested etc.
Scam tele message purported to be from CRA. Demanded I call the number above and that if I failed to do so a lien would be taken out on my property and I'd incur legal expenses. I'm totally up to date in my tax payments so know this is a scam. Beware. I expect it's a premium number and you'll be dinged big time if you call.
Got calls from this number twice. Just like the other said there was a recording saying that CRA has decided to open an investigation and to liquidate all my assets if I do not return their call. Sounds like scary scam.
Had a recorded message saying I had 24 hours to pay up before a lien was put on our property. I was to call this number immediately (number was given twice). A collection agent would be contacting me shortly. Oh yeah, and I was to call my lawyer. Scumbag scammers.
