Obviously false info because when I look at the recent calls on my phone, the name disappears and it's just the number. They are just trying to get you to pick up by not using Verizon Wireless as the caller ID.
I agree with Cluemeister that it's probably Verizon. Got a text from them earlier right after I didn't answer the first call from this number. I'm late on my bill.
Verizon needs to quit calling me and wasting my phone minutes. I don't have Verizon, have never had Verizon, don't want Verizon. They need to call someone else.
a phone number from Columbus OH left an automated message asking me to call Verizon at this 800 number. The message said to call and enter your phone number for a personalized message.
I thought it was a little strange, so I called the 800 number for Verizon that I know is legit. The customer service rep assured me that this message is ABSOLUTELY NOT VERIZON CALLING. Most likely scammers trying to fish for personal info..
