These idiots call me three to four times a day. I never answer and occasionally receive a threatening text telling me to pay within the next 24 hours. I ALWAYS pay my bill, although it is sometimes late. This is blatant harassment.
Number comes up as UNK, And for everyone else, I don't have Verizon - in fact I don't have a cell phone at all. They are calling my home phone - the only phone I have, and its thru AT&T and my bill is paid up.
Yes, it's Verizon's dialer. I am right now on the line telling them to stop using Cherokee Gates as a fake caller id. I have nothing to do with them. They called my VOIP number (which I have since >5years with Viatalk and cox comm. as ISP). They wanted Molly someone to pay her bill and annoyed instead us. There is NO Molly and that they as a telephone provider to call someone who owns them money on a number that's not theirs -the wrong PHONE number- is more than irritating.
I think it is also highly unethical to use a fake person's name trying to get through and hide their identity when attempting to contact someone they believe owns money. But even worse is that they have a computer call the wrong number.
I take it back, the fake name is worse and borders on a criminal act: identity theft!
I don't even have Verizon and right now they or this number called my phone 3 times in a row and each time I declined to answer it and left no voice message. I would say it's a scam. And when I googled the number it comes up as Felicia Davis LPN
