Telemarketer... "Just a courtesy call to let you know that the vehicle warranty on your car has expired, is that right?"...  told them I wasn't interested and  hung up.

This number called me at Several times, today, the last time was 1am, what kinda telemarketers call u at 1am? I tried calling back, because the call doesn't even give me the chance to answer, but it has a recording that says number is not in the system, so weird?

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Had yet another call from this number, 614-407-3652, ID came up as Columbus, OH. They don't leave messages so I assume it is either telemarketer or scam, either way I don't want to talk to them. Too bad someone can't figure out a way to load up their phone lines so they can't make any outgoing calls.

I waited a few seconds to see if anyone would pick this up. The fellow on the other end said that a security system rep was in my neighborhood and that he could transfer me to someone to set up an appointment. I asked for the name of the company and he would not tell me, but said that was a good question for the rep. So I said I'll talk to the rep and he transferred me. First question for the rep was to ask for his company. He said "Monitronics." I said "Thank you. Not interested. Good-bye." I have sent a complaint to FTC stating the company and the phone number. And I have sent a note to Monitronics.
