I am going through the same thing this morning. The so called manager cursed me out. I've been calling back and every time I do, he calls me a sissy and hangs up
They called from 740-212-3800, 1-888-420-0532 and threatened me with felony charges to defraud payday loan companies. I spoke with several different individuals who claimed to investors for Thomas Mancini & Associated working on behalf of "Equity Loans", a financial service representing several different payday loan companies. The one loan I DO HAVE is currently in GOOD status. They wanted me to make a money gram payment immediately or have a warrant out for my arrest. I spoke directly to Ashley Walker, and a Mr. Davenport which are both probably not their real names.
I have been receiving calls from from these people and I finally called them back today. Same story as everyone else... they are stating i have outstanding payday loans and there are 2 FELONY charges attached if I do not pay. When I asked "Candace Miller" to send me all of the documents by mail she refused. When I asked them who the original creditor was and for a dollar amount I owe, she said she can only give that information to my attorney. Total scam!
Be careful with these people. They got ahold of my daughter and said some very vile and disgusting things. Very scary people considering they had an address.
I almost fell for this yesterday. Jessica was my supposed pre trial paralegal. They called from a 440 phone number and I live in Columbus. I got super scared set up a payment arrangement but knew it was a scam when I was to pay my monthly payment via Money Gram with cash only. I consulted my attorney who handled my original bankruptcy that covered all my debts and I owe nothing. They also said that thay the arbitrary agreement that I signed disqualified my bankruptcy from covering the debt. They are lying and really good at it. They are very convincing and know how to talk legal ease. Don't fall for it.
The are scammers and legal office they represent doesn't exist. My attorney called three times only to be hung up on. They real Mancicni Law firm is in California and they have no association with these people. My attorney is also filing a legal complaint against them and has threatened to sue if they continue harass me.
We also called clerk of courts this morning and no case or charges filed. If you get this call, hang up! These people are truly scumbags.
These people are NOT Mancini and Associates in California and have NO affiliation to them at all. They try to push their website to try to look legit, but I repeat these scumbags have no affiliation with the REAL Mancini and Associates.
