Who called from 6166132626

Just missed a call from 616-613-3266. Looked it up and found this forum. Had I been here I'd pick up the phone and hold down the # key on the phone pad. I got this tip from a friend some years ago and have been using this technique. Of course there is no way for me to find out if it in fact works but what it is supposed to do is to confuse their automatic voice system and it might remove your number from their system or something to that effect.

Got a bunch of these pain in the [***] calls, too.  Never answer them, either!!  Anyone that puts junk like "Lower Interest" on the caller ID should know I"m not going to answer!!  What a bunch of fools. Another pile of SCAM artists to add to the heap of scumbags to block.

It's the usual "lower your interest rate" scam.  Nothing will stop them from repeatedly calling your home phone.  The Do Not Call Registry is worthless.

I always answer and have fun with them.   I tell them I love paying high interest because its good for the economy just like I never claim exemptions on my taxes because I love paying more.   They always hang up on me.

I also chose #1 and asked to that this really is "my final notice".  They hung up on me too.  Going to report them now to the FCC.
