I always answer and have fun with them. I tell them I love paying high interest because its good for the economy just like I never claim exemptions on my taxes because I love paying more. They always hang up on me.
The card services scammers message SHOULD state "press 1 to be taken advantage OF today". People that have been fooled into giving their credit card number to these drug- addicted lowlifes have lost thousands of dollars. Beware of these scum, and alert others before they are cheated!
Do you really think asking them to delete you will work? They use fake phone numbers, they lie about who they are, they lie about what they will do for you, and they steal as much information as they can from you. Does that sound like they will HONOR your request to get off their call list? I'm afraid you are a bit naive. Be careful next time.
A machine from this number called and left a message on my answering machine which offers the same message as other numbers that have called to lower my credit card interest rate. That this is my final notice and to speak to a rep press 1. This machine called my home through out the year stating the same message or similar messages from varying phone number. I just let the machine answer and then erase the message. I have filed a few complaints with the do not call list but never hear back.
