This number called our business again, this time today at 1329 hours. The 617 area code is in our state so I didn't suspect anything odd at first. When I picked up the phone I heard a familiar "bloop" sound that immediately warned me it was a telemarketer, spammer, or scam artist. They guy who picked up on the other end said he was trying to reach the person in charge of the electric bill. Ugh. I told him, in a weary voice, "Please don't call again. We don't need your scam," and hung up. I'm sure they'll call back again. The very fact that other people have tried to call the number back and got a message that it was disconnected or not a valid number makes me very determined NOT to have anything to do with whoever they are.

I decided to post this after receiving 3 phone calls in 13 days form this company. They are a telemarketer for Liberty Power Corporation, an energy service company promising to lower your electric bill rate. Found number on CID . These people didn't harass me enough with phone call from 413 area code?? I gotten calls to lower my rates from 3 different numbers with that area code this month alone and today from this number. April 8th, get lost people. If I want to change my rates I'll find you.
Called but left no message. Having a town name in the Caller ID Name, and especially one that is different than the Caller ID Location is a tip off that this is probably a scammer.
