First, however, you have to give them the account number of your current utility account.the next thing you know, you have a new utility company and the promised discount may disappear into thin air and you have even higher rates, the fake police fund, computer has a virus today, Korean war vets fund, Civil war vets Fund, you won a time share, You won a trip to the Bahamas, You won a free cruise to the Bahamas, Fake IRS Scam stating you owe $5000 and will be arrested today if you do not pay up, grandparents scam, fake cancer fund, Fake Vietnam war vets fund, Fake march dimes fund, you won the lottery today just wire $5000 to collect your prize, Hilary for President scam - wire money to Nigeria elect the witch, wounded warrior scam, you just won a free security system for your home, Vehicle warranty scam, you won a free Disney cruise, Lower you credit card rate scam, you won free solar panels for your home, you won free pet food for a year just need to sent $200 to start the process, free home energy audit that's not free, You won a free home security Audit, Sienna college Survey scam, Some Bank making a courtesy call about your account - Phishing for info, Microsoft calling about your computer, Hillary campaign calling and asking if anyone in your family had sex or was touched by Donald Trump 20 years ago or more and would like $200,000 to go on CNN and tell your fake story, I AM SICK OF THIS CRAP and the USA does nothing how in the hell can we fight Terrorist when we can not catch these folks??????????
You are so RIGHT about these !@#$%^&* phone calls. My phone can block 250 calls, and this is the SECOND time I have had to erase them to start all over again. Here in Florida, with all the seniors, they are constantly on TV crying how they were scammed and the Police Chiefs themselves come on and tell people NOT to fall for this BS. Call the Police if you feel threatened. DO NOT...I REPEAT...DO NOT give ANY information to these scammers....and DO NOT fall for the "Press # 2 or whatever # they tell you to press to opt out of their phone calls. It only proves to them that you are a LIVE caller and have a valid phone. They will continually call you if you do this. JUST HANG UP. As simple as that....
