Start blocking area codes and ranges of numbers-read your owners manual. Don't piddle around with individual phone numbers-unless they are in your own area code.
Robo-call. Some idiocy about what factors I (will) consider when buying another car. I rang off after the first question, which I did not answer. Tossers!!!!!
Automated message inquired about next car purchase... a supposed survey. I am on the Do Not Call list but these scammers persist. I never respond, just let it run until it disconnects.
Unfortunately, the only way to have any peace and quiet from all the various scammers/spammers out there is to buy a call blocking device for a landline phone or application for a cell phone. Amazon has many to choose from, most under $100. Then these idiots get one chance to call and leave a message. Unfamiliar number, no CID info, no message...then it's not an important call and can be blocked permanently with your blocking device or app. From the comments above, it looks like this is a telemarketing scam trying to masquerade as a survey about car sales.
