Filed a complaint. They call numerous times a day as early as 6:30am, and until 4pm. This number they are calling from is new. I have an app that automatically hangs up on spam #'s.i currently have no debt, and haven't had any for the past 10years.
If want me to call you back give me a message. Because I don't call people that I don't know unless you leave a message. Especially when I don't have any debt.
Called my phone at 7:55am Mountain Time, illegal under Federal Debt Collection Practices Act and it is time stamped on my phone log since I answered at that time. Next, they are Portfolio Recovery who, in the past year, had 1420 complaints with the BBB all unresolved (they answer each complaint with a standard form letter of two types but do not answer complaint) and are notorious for buying SOL (statue of limitations) debt that can't be collected, bogus claims, etc. They are HELL to get off a credit report unless you sue them. If you receive something in the mail, it usually comes with a department #, PO Box, and either Concord California or Metrarie Louisiana (I may have misspelled the city names slightly, sorry). They are a scam. People pay them and they do not own the debts. Companies they are "collecting for" are bogus, bankrupt, out of business, you get the idea, HANG UP AND DO NOT REPEAT DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! Good luck!
