This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to stop or pause the recording, refusing to provide a phone number when asked, and refusing to provide an address when asked. Their recording is the standard scammer recording offering discounted interest rates and reduced payments on credit cards, but the scammer clearly does not have any real information about the people called since they have to start with checking to see if you meet the requirements – even though the recording said you were qualified… This is clearly a scam set up to steal people’s credit card and financial information. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.
