Like everyone else, it's a company called Portfolio Recovery. After multiple calls with no messages I finally answered it. They are looking for a relative of mine, I told them that, and they wanted his number and address. I told them I would be happy to give them the new number but he died 7 years ago so it would be one hell of a toll call. You would think that would stop them from calling but NO, they are still calling. Next time I'll answer it as "my relative" in Heaven (or the alternative) and see how far I get. Total idiot's who are chasing pennies on the dollar I would imagine, I wish them luck.
Portfolio Recover is the bottom feeder, scumbags of all collection agencies! They will harass you if they think you know someone they are looking for. My ex (who I have been divorced from for over 20 years) owed money so they call me because I am listed as his ex.
