This number called a few minutes ago. I didn't answer, and they left no message. And I follow the same procedure as Sharee: if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. It's an impossible time sink otherwise.
Home Improvement scam. The caller knew my full name and address. We started speaking in Hebrew. He admitted he works for a lead generator and they sell the leads to guy that holds a general contractors license but they sub all the work out. He recommended not using them. I tried to get company details but he would divulge none.
Lady called me and told me she worked in my local area. I picked up the phone when she called, said hello and there was no sound, then when I yelled she told me not to shout. She tried to tell me she would come by the house around a later time, but suddenly her voice faded out.
Selling some expensive but poor service like always...
