" Since I know better, please cite the law and the source that says it was repealed. These need to be verifiable, reliable citations, not conjecture from your barroom buddies. "By the way, that law also included, as just a couple of its many conditions, that companies could only call their customers if the customer requested marketing calls, for support calls or anything similar and that companies purchasing telephone serves (i.e. telephone numbers or lines) must register the purpose those phone numbers will be for and that phone numbers (lines) will be used for that company's purposes." That law is still on the books. Before posting blatant misinformation and conjecture, you should actually do some research and learn what you are talking about before making a huge fool out of yourself.

These calls come to my office, where I get at least 50 calls on a slow day from all over SoCal. So, I have to answer every call.
My favorite call from them was the super drunk woman that complained that she couldn't pronounce "no dumb oriental name proper"
