Collar stated that they were from the city of Huntington Beach and something about the police. Caller stated that the call was being recorded and that they were trying to connect with the Huntington Beach Police Department. I think it was some sort of scam because the number was not from Huntington Beach. Caller called me a name and hung up.
They have called me early this morning at 9:40 AM PDT. Way too early. I will track these sorry pigs down and I will blow up their building. Tired of this crap.
ID says: "Arcadia CA"..... Call, say nothing, ignore the screener's warning, and you get blocked! All scammers and unknown, unspeaking callers get blocked forever! Good riddance!
Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Unassigned" which usually means telemarketer/scammer since every legitimate caller I know leaves a message. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Arcadia, California using a service provider of Teleport Communications Group-Los Angeles CA. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers and/or using a VoIP System to phish for personal information while running some scam. A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.
NOTE: Here is the contact information for the service provider of this phone number.
