Called again, ID'ying as a rep from "Windows"
I cut him off and said "I do not have Windows, Please Take Me Off Your List"
He said OK
I said again, "No I mean it, Take Me Off Your List, Your Company has called me repeatedly, I do not have Windows, and I no longer want these calls."
He then said, "F*ck Off"
Stunned, I said, "Pardon Me???"
He again said, louder "F*CK OFF"
I said "You talk to your mother with that mouth? TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST" and hung up.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BELIEVE OR TRUST THIS CALLER
Answered the phone and there was a few seconds delay indicating the system was waiting for a live person to pick up on the caller's end - never a good sign to start with. A fellow with an East Indian accent so thick he was difficult to understand said he was from "technical support". I asked, technical support for who and he rattled off a company name so fast I didn't get it. He said my Windows is downloading bad "something" (couldn't understand the word, sounded like 'chumps' or 'chunks' maybe), no virus scanner would ever catch it, it was a very dangerous thing, and I should do a download to my computer that he would walk me through. I'm not that stupid and refused. I asked him why I should do this just because someone in California (and I recited the phone number back to him) said so. He was quite taken aback that I had a phone number .... scammers don't know about call display? Don't get sucked in to whatever it is this person wants you to download, it won't be good.
I just got a call from this number as a response to me hanging up from a call I received from 607-625-9910 - same situation as above, some east indian guy telling me he was calling me from Microsoft Windows computer tech support and that I had downloaded a virus - I told him I was not interested, hung up, then he called back from this number and freaked out at me "why did you hang up" so I just told him I worked in IT and I was not interested in any scam he had going...and he called me a liar - scary thing is he knew my name...I kinda want to report this to the police!
Got a call from this number (626-445-9137) asking the age of my kid to see if I qualify for a grant, I started asking from which agency are these grants and the guy hanged up.
