This number calls me all the time. There is never anyone there. When I call back, it says press 1 to get off their call list. I do this repeatedly each time they call and I never get removed. It's extremely annoying.
I have been getting calls from 626.668.8231and many others. These calls all result from the fact that PECO sold my number. According to the PECO representative I spoke with, their January bill inserts included an advertisement that stated they were going to sell your number to other utility providers UNLESS the customer opted out in writing. I told them that was illegal because I am on the do-not-call list. I reported them. Haven't heard anything.
PECO said they were going to take my number off their list but what good will that do once it's already been sold?!! I "suggested" that, in the future, they require their customers to opt in vs. opting out.
