After a long pause, a caller came on the line to ask for someone here. Given the pause, I asked who was calling. The caller gave some "Research" name and said "would you please just direct me to his line?". I put them on hold, looked up the number, then asked what the call was in regard to. They said "information about IT". I told them they were asking for the wrong person. The asked if said person was the IT manager, and I told them we don't give out name and title information. I get a feeling this isn't the last call we'll get from them.
Keep getting calls from this number all day long. I either don't answer, or I answer and hang up on them. I did answer the first few times, but realize they're on a fishing expedition. Annoying!
