Same thing happened to me. But I didn't pick up, just saw the number on my caller id, they called twice. When I tried calling back, I got the message that everyone else has been getting. Who's behind this? Sounds like a prank.
My daughter was receiving messages from this phone number on her cell phone periodically. I called the number back and got that everyone else is reporting. I called Verizon customer service and had that # blocked. Problem solved, no moe calls. You can block up to 5 #'s on Verizon cellphones
