Dear,
Recruiting agencies ask for SSN just to check if you have ever worked with a particular client recruiter is recruiting for. If you have worked wit that client then "are you eligible for re-hire?". even if you never worked with that particular client still SSN is needed as exp part from resume can be removed. Not all clients needs SSN. Some of them need last 4 digits of SSN. some of them need full SSN. And your SSN is fully safe and confidential. It is put in a confidential database as soon as recruiters receive it. Only hiring manager can access it. No one else can access it.
The people calling from Rose International cheat . I got a call from them today and she asked me for my SSN. I did not give her my SSN . So she sent me an email with a Bank of America address . Guess what , I checked BOA locations and BOA does not have a location in that place . May be there is a real company by this name but the phone calls that we get are scam calls . Do not give the SSN . They have too much info about you in the resume itself , giving them SSN too - NO NEVER DO THAT
Joseph Brown, Rose International, emailed me stating that he saw my resume on Career Builders - went through the scenerio about having an opportunity at siemens and "pretended" to have an interview set up for me in Tarrytown - close to where i reside. Then sent an email stating that he would send me the person to whom i will be seeing and the address in 72 hours - 72 hrs later he emailed me about it being an "example" of what type of service they had and that he was checking my employment status - These people are liars and con-artist - seeking people out and giving them false hope for employment opportunities - all i have to say is what goes around comes around
If you have a sister that works for "Rose", you need to tell her that there is a company "falsely" advertising jobs and opportunities for people - as you can see, there are quite a few individuals who had bad experiences with these "so-called" Rose employees. What you and your sister need to do is print this post out and inform the executives of that company about it. I hope all goes well to get these villains !!
This is Rose International - its just a temp service. I'v worked for them be for. the are a real company. I worked at Bank of America in Fort Worth. They are a really nice Temp service.
